I am a non-binary person and am currently waiting for my file to be processed to get a mastectomy.
Reading this article took off like a huge load off my shoulders. It’s the first time that I get to hear about the journey of another non-binary person at the GRS. Because if this previously absence of informations and with the current pandemic on top of that (and including my own anxious nature,) there was a lot of uncertainties and worry, even with all the efforts the GRS puts forth to keep us informed.

Simply seeing that you managed to achieve it makes me feel a lot better! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us!

My son got his surgery done there at GRS December 2018, almost two years ago now. It was a HUGE deal, even without covid and with me by his side. Good for you! HUGS
